mercury lounge - 9/9
hey all,
sneaky thieves are now in goleta, ca (just north of santa barbara). you’ll be happy to know that we have not yet driven off the side of 101 or clipped any vans/trucks/cars in our adventures. it seems that we’ve driven somewhere near 700 miles since leaving portland, or. we’re still about 100 miles from LA, too.
anywho. we’re playing a cool little place called the mercury lounge. it’s got that look of your swanky grandparents’ house in 1968. like the photos where everyone is sitting on patent leather barstools, swilling coctails that are lighted by deep burnt orange lampshades.
fun. the other groups are stand-up folks, too. keep an eye/ear out for: clark, nathan moomaw, and jon bartel.
